Guess the color? Doesn't Shelly breed sables, and is proud of her grey ghosts? I gotta be a winner!
I think Capone is a great name, even more so, if your name is Don C!.

Caleb or Cal was from East of Eden, not Rebel Without a Cause.
Shelley is presumably tired of how her grey dogs are being treated in the ring. My bet is that this one is black and red.

OK, MVF, educate me please, you have one of her pups, true? You guys are schutzhund folks, working lines, and all that, color is not supposed to be an issue, or have I got it all wrong?
Black and Red is showline stuff, isn't it?
And all that agouti stuff, hard to breed out isn't it , I mean if you're going to switch to Black and Red? With any consistancy that is, meaning, as a breeder, you don't want to be left with all that "pet" overstock?

Yes, I do, and yes color should not be an issue. But the show judges are worse than Miss America judges. At least with Miss America, any color will do.
We have to ask Shelley what she is really doing, but as she just got back from NASS and had her grey dogs dissed in the conformation ring, I am guessing this show pup is B/R. That's all I meant. I am guessing that Shelley has decided that as she can't change 'em, she'll join 'em.
But only Shelley can say for sure - I could be wrong.
My new pup starts at his first Schutzhund club tomorrow AM, where color isn't going to matter!
