WOW.....  and to think I'm taking 50 pictures just to get one good one.  Interesting.

LOL, i scrolled down to read this thread and lo and behold - doggie porn! yikes and double yikes! i cracked up. i think more than any other dog breed i've seen, the gsd loves to sit w/his "doodle" hanging out. changes the definition of doodling too.  and watcher, i'm really impressed by your skills too.

Watcher,

Can you send me instructions of how to remove distractions in photoshop 7?

by Watcher on 12 September 2007 - 01:09

It would take me awhile and i think i'd confuse you even more, so i thought maybe these 2 sites may be helpful.

The 1st 1 will help with removing stuff and the second 1 have 1000's of tutorials on photoshop.

Whenever possible, position the dog against a neutral background, such as grass or trees because it is much easier to replicate without looking blatantly awkward.

Grass and trees like in the photo above are excellent backgrounds.  Here is the final picture with the lady removed...

Certainly not my best work, and it's clearly the work of an amateur, but then I am just an amateur photographer too.  If I would have posed the lady and dog against a "busy" background then I would not be able to make the edited pic look natural.  I have my limits to my skills.  LOL

Here's more you can do in photoshop!

Original...photo taken by Julia (Drakegsd)

Here's what I did with the photo in photoshop

And here's a collage I did in photoshop using a shot I had of our training field as the background.  I had edited out the dog that was in it and added various shots of Cayman by extracting what I wanted to use and resizing them to fit.  Thanks to Julia and Mr. B for the shots of Cayman.  The headshot was taken by me.

There's soooo much you can do in photoshop!!

As a male, I must say that the great pleasure all you women are taking in ... erasing ... your boy's "doodle"  is making me just a little nervous.

Boy dogs never leave home without their lipstick.
