Shandra: If the breeder is so notable who is it.....Any person can tell you, the buyer that their dog is this and their dog is that.....So the breeder of Tino is a Schutzhund trainer?
Why did he not know that tino had a bad temperament.....Zenia also has advoidance problems as well and TIno does.also....You would not find schutzhund trainers and a USA club that would accept either , if your description is as you have said...
Just because he has litters and some one who calls themself a breeder, doesnt make the dog trainable or breedable...If a dog has noticeable traits, that can be determined to be not for the betterment you do not breed that dog....
Thousands of people in the United states do it....That s why you hear all these people on this database come unglued everytime someone breeds dogs with uncertain and undesirable traits. The breeder you speak of , is of Tino? does that breeder have a list a mile long with vet recommendations about other of her breedings.? names of people that have dogs they have sold to them ? with telephone numbers for you to call......>/ If not, they may have been pulling your leg......and filled you with lots of bs.
Did you ever post Xenas pedigreee and Tinos also . I would llike to see them..on the board.....
You stated that those breeders had produced many litters from him.....are you speaking of Tino? Unbelievable indeed......
Where does this trainer train his dogs.....and he certainly is not a member of USA schutzhund.....we all know many men and women in the state of Texas, that claim to train dogs....doesnt mean they do or know how..
Post the pedigrees of these two as I never saw them if they are on another thread....I just joined last month....so I dont remember them..

Shandra.....
Wasnt going to chime in, but aren't Vielenbache kennel Troy Smith http://vielenbache.com/home.htm / http://www.miamorkennels.com/about.html and the second owner Two River kennel http://tworiverkennel.com/index.html the previous owners of Tino? As far as I know Vielenbache / Mi Amor kennels (Troy Smith) is running a puppy mill or at least they are just as bad as a puppy mill would be. I would not call him an expert on anything, much less on dog behaviour! JMO!

You are correct. I had no intention of listing who they are as I dont think it is my place and I did not want to create more problems.
I know nothing of either of them other than when I took Xena out there and then got Tino. All I know of them is what I have read on their websites.
Luv, this is Tino and Xena's pedigree. I did not get them from the original breeder. Tino's breeder and the breeder I got him from are 2 different people. From the research I have done, Tino is very well bred with hard dogs in his pedigree. I do not believe his issues are from breeding but from treatment during his life. just my uneducated opinion. Xena has some good dogs in her line but to far back to have much bearing.

Well, I have NO problem exposing a kennel who is just after $$$ and could not care less about our breed and what so many of us are striving for. You got some great advice from some of the people on this board like GARD, Don and 4pack just to name a few. Listen to them and not to people who don't know what the they are talking about!

On a side note; A pedigree is a great way to find out about your dog. It does not nesseseraly mean the dogs are breed worthy because of pedigree alone. Many other factors need to be considered as well. Many of us spend way more money on our dogs on training, showing , travel and on one dog after the other because it did not work out the first time around (yeah even with great pedigrees sometimes they just don't work out and are not WORTHY of breeding). By the way, a breed worthy stud dog cost a minimum of $ 7000.00 and up!

Quote: If Tino is such a bad dog, why would 2 different breeders have used him for studding?
