The statue is of Chip the police dog, killed in the line of duty a few years ago in Hope, BC, Canada. It is a
wood carving. We attended a herding camp up there last year.

That is very neat and respectful! to not only the K-9 but to his handler. More should be done for our fallen K-9s
Thanks for sharing the pictures, your girl looks very happy

YellowRose- Your dogs are absolutely breathtaking. I was trying to figure out which one I thought was my favorite but then you posted another picture of one just as pretty. lol I told my trainer (who's a working line all they way guy) lol that I thought I wanted a showline one day and he said to me very sarcastically "what for?" I said because they're beautiful and he said "yhea so, who cares what they look like as long as they can work" At that point I figured there was no use in talking about it anymore, but I will have a showline one day; probably for my oldest daughter to start working with since she said she's wanting to do obedience, some agility maybe and she wants to "show she has the prettiest dog in the ring" lol She watches too much Westminster and Eukanuba Dog Shows if you ask me. lol

Whatever they've got in them makes no difference to me; I still think they're gorgeous and I still want one. lol I'm sure I can find one that looks as good as yours and can work too right?? Then again if it's gonna be for my 10 year old daughter I hardly think I need the hardness.
