Its much quicker at Walmart parking lot....all over the United States, breeders are selling their pups from $25.00 to $500.00 , and some giving away pups and kittens....so either take our advice or pay to advertise them on www.puppyfind.com yes , in order for them to be disclosed and the phone numbers and emails to have access , you have to pay. to advertise...
In about two hours, I guarantee she can give them away at Walmart, and she can get their name and keep up with the pups , just as if she was a quality breeder....she can even make them fill out a questionaire , if she is that concerned and makes her feel better....
No one is being cruel or rude.,,,this a no place for your problem to be aired...You didnt want our advice. so what do you expect...

Man I really hope it was an accident, I LOTHE people who make mutts on purpose and sell them for rediculous amounts of money!!! None the less a mutt is a MUTT, you are entitled to what you put into them and nothing more (cost for food, shot's, wormer).
And FYI for the future a PET STORE is the last place you want to BUY a puppy...PLEASE let your mother-in-law know that (they are waaaay overpriced and most come from puppy mills...around here "Forest Ridge Kennels" is the pet stores puppy mill of choice)
I hope you find them good homes, neuter that unpapered Jack and for god sakes be more careful!!! When my bitch was in heat I never let her out of my sight, when she was in the yard I stood at the window and watched her till she was done.
Letting your mother in law doggy sit for your Peak in heat when she had an intact male Jack is pure stupiditiy! (or it was really done on purpose and you don't want to admit it) I can't tell, your explaination wasn't that clear.
You may not have forseen the brow beating since these "designer breeds" are all over the place...but HERE honey??? Most of us don't even condone the production of poor quality GSD's let alone MUTTS!!

Please contact a local rescue and see if they will assist you in finding these pups a home. If not ask them if they will teach you how to screen potential homes.
Fates literally worse then death can happen to a pup that ends up in the wrong hands.
Like if or not there is no monetary value to your puppies. They are worth the same to society as all the dogs, mixed, or pedigreed, that are put to death in shelters in this country.

Speaking as someone who runs a shelter, I see things like this on a daily basis. My advice to you (knowing that you already know this wasn't a good thing) is to continue to try and be responsible. I am sure you will! Most likely, everyone who sees these pups will think they are the most adorable puppies in the world, and to you they are. Think past the next 10 to 12 weeks...what happens then? The cuteness begins to wear off, and it will. A couple of things to consider: You probably won't get more than 50 bucks for the pups? why? because there are similar mixed breeds in a lot of shelters that already place those pups for adoption for around 325 bucks. This means those pups are already up to date on shots, had a health exam, wormed, and most likely spayed or neutered. Most responsible shelters will always take back any animal that they have adopted out, and they should no matter how over populated they are.
Are you willing to make sure all of these pups are sold already altered, or with a contract that they be altered? Do you really want to be responsible for all the additional pups that will be born should your pups not be altered? Check with any of your local shelters to see if your state has a PLAN B. This helps people with the cost of altering a pet. Have all the information for the prospective new owners. Keep in mind, you may never actually be able to sell all of them no matter what the price is.
I won't knock you for what has already happened.....IT HAPPENS TO EVEN THE BEST BREEDERS on occasion!! What you do from here on out will demonstrate your willingness to maximize the potential that this never happens again, and that it doesn't happen to anyone who takes on the responsibility of one of your pups. Most breeders feel they are responsible for any puppy they produce until that puppy passes. I am sure you will also.
