Do Right----I have dibs on one of those pups......but I get to pick him out......and want full breeding rights.  We'll create a whole new breed and add it to Oli's database.........and have Sunsilver promote it.  How does the name *Shilohweiloh* strike you...Catchy???    OR......I bet that cross could produce some fairly decent  Beauceron knock-offs. (Think---we could corner the market, make a killing and earn enough to donate funds to Purdue...........a cure for bloat  and male pattern baldness could be just around the corner.)  And, we owe it all to  AZSHEP6----my muse.  (LOL)

You're a good sport A6.  And, now it really is time to sign off.

Hmmm, you may have something there LMH.  I really like Rose' suggestion of "Germiweillers".  It has a catchy ring to it.  But I also like your suggestion of "Shilohweiloh's".  Before you two posted those names I was thinking of Rottepherds.  I will have to mull it over, but I am leaning towards "Germiweillers".

YellowRose:  May I use that for my new breed of shork Lines?  My Rottweiller is from working lines and my Shepherd is from show lines, hence the "shork lines" moniker.

Of course someone will interject into our plans their disapproval of crossing working lines with show lines.  You can't please everbody.

and that would be called the  "Golden Middle"   ??????

I wonder how many years it would take to get to be a reputable breeder with these new " germiweillers?   What color is your boy and what color is your female......what do you expect we would produce with the  mix?

Boy is the typical black Rott with tan markings and the shepherd is the typical black and tan.  I think we would, after several generations, end up with sables.  With any luck at all, we will be able to branch off into some whites also.

I'm getting into this  more and more.  We only sell the offspring spayed or neutered, to maintain the lines all our own.  Only myself, Rose and LMH will have intact dogs, for breeding purposes.  If we come up with some long coats, we will get them to sue and she can breed them for that market.  We have to make a market for our new breed.  Any ideas, and please, let's not get Paris Hilton to walk around with one all dressed up in expensive doggie clothing.  How humiliating for the dog.  These shork line Germiweillers are gonna be tough dogs but with a touch of tenderness.  After they bite an intruder, they will lick the wound for the poor guy, to help clean it until the medics arrive.  As a marketing tool, we will not Schutzhund them but will have our own bite tests and will call them "Nutzhund I, II and III", for obvious reasons (below the belt bites if you know what I mean.

We will do our own home Hip and elbow (naw, forget the elbow) tests.  They will be "good enough", "good", and "gooder" (A, A+ and A++).

Dogs will have to pass a strigent test of their courage and temperment consisting of, at minimum:

1)  If any dog above the age of 6 months bites a mailman, he is "KKNutz for life".

2)  If any dog bites an obnoxious husband in his behind just when the wife thinks the husband needs it, and the dog was not commanded to do said bite, the dog is "KKNutz for life".

3)  If the dog or pup does not defecate ever, or (in the case of males) does not relieve himself on the owners flowers, bushes, sofa, and carpet, then said dog is "KKNutz for life w/star cluster" and will be considered VA for life

Yep.  I'm excited about this new breed.   www.germiweillersRus.com will be our web site address.

In nature inbreeding is the result of natural selection for the animals with the strongest survival characteristics. They are the alphas of the wolf pack with the very best physical structure including hip conformation.  Inbreeding is not necessarily a bad thing if survival is the only criterium. It's when humans get involved that it becomes complicated since we do not breed solely for survival and tend to select for cosmetic traits that influence what makes a dog pretty to our eyes - coat length and texture, angulation, pigmentation, eye color and so forth thus messing up the natural balance created by Mother Nature.  If other members of a wolf pack were allowed to breed, the species would eventually become extinct. In nature it must be all about survival wohtout human intervention. Frankly I wish more dog breeders would pay aattention to survival characteristics when they make their breeding selections, a different thread for another time.

An amendment to the Constitution of the UKCA (United Knuzthund Club of America) proposal.  Under section (2), from this day forth, said section will read thusly:  "If any dog bites an obnoxious husband in his behind just when the wife thinks the husband needs it, and the dog was not commanded to do said bite, the dog is "KKNutz for Life".  If said mailman can be verified as bringing bills to the owner of said dog, and no checks, then said dog will be classified as "KKnutz for Life" and "Exceptional Member in Standing for Life"

This is really taking off people.  I am receiving pre-orders for puppies from all over the world.  Does anyone know of a drug that a female dog can be given (or my wife also), that will bring on the "mating season" more often?  If we can get my females to come into heat four or five times a year, we can really clean up financially (and in the case of my wife, put a smile on my face more often).  My Rottweiller Clyde says he is up for it, and so am I
