I did not read all of them but in case this was not mentioned....

WOOD CHIPS or SAWDUST break down bacteria and breakdown the poo, and breakdown itself,  I know of several kennel's in the valley,  (lots of humidity)  That use shavings in kennel's and remove as much solid waste as possible if it's not easily disposed of, (ie a bucket)  You can dig a pit,  line with some sawdust,  put poo in hole and lightly cover with sawdust again,  you'll find the hole will likely never FILL up but even when it begins to..  remove some of the stuff from the bottom if you can and scatter in THIN layers around property edges to dry out.    Some folks even use it around the shrubs and trees.

This might be an easy solution to your dilema...  dig trenches behind the kennels where you spray the poo into and layer with the sawdust,  Might be worth checking out for your situation.

someone mentioned on another thread that Odo Ban might be dangerous for producing kennels....Might ought to look into that ,,,,,,I have a problem here with kennels not drying ,,,it is so humid and one of my heavy coated dogs has a staff skin infection because he stayed wet for a long time and it went unnotice....hes out of kennels and in shut down wire cratee till I get him over it......and I might go to the vinegar and borax and use Dawn dishwashing   the plain one.....I have noticed every now and then one or two will get smushy poop if I clean too much or use too much odo ban  I get in a hurry and I think they walk on it too soon. I wil not use bleach   bleach is virtually classified as an insecticide...and I had pneumonia  one time from  using it...and Im too careless and get in too big of a hurry .....Ive ruined more pants and shoes and clothes with bleach.....any thing we do creates some problemmm.....I may cut down the times I use odoban   I hate smells   and that why I get gung ho with it and probably not a good idea.......

You people that us the mats?   your dogs must not shed like mine do....how in the world do you get pounds of hair off the mats...that would drive me crazy      some one needs to invent something good to do with leaves and dog hair.....

I tried Odo Ban once and thought the smell was horrible - couldn't stand it, myself - back to diluted bleach and Pine Cleaner.

I have concrete runs and use Nature's Miracle. It kills the bacteria in the fecis and urine causing the terribale smells. If it works in LA it should work for you. I have to use it once a week to two weeks. Depends on weather.

wow Nature's Miracle - pricey for kennels, isn't it?  I couldn't afford to use it - have it in the house though for accidents - great stuff.

We have rubber stall mats.  Jim uses a bleach solution daily, after scooping.  It seems to be working well.  He does use Odo Ban weekly also.  The biggest thing is he preasure washes weekly, that has helped more then anything.
