Don Corleone

What did the judge say about his grips and intensity in the blind?

by triodegirl on 17 June 2007 - 22:06

Hey SW, obviously those judges have no class :)  Chaos hardly even looks like a long coat next to Trigger. They would have fainted had they seem him :)

Thanks Trio.  I do respect thier opinions though, even though I may not agree with them some times.  I also have a notebook of judges that didn't like him, and judges that did.  When I go to shows with him now, I look to see if he has faced the judge or not.  If he has, if the judge didn't like him, we won't go to that show.  If it's a new judge or one that has seen him, we will go ahead and get in to the show.  A lot of friends that show, gave me that idea.

Don, I am not even going to respond to your post!  But I will say this.  It was pretty stupid if you ask me!

SW glad you and Chaos had fun this weekend.   After all, that is really what owning a dog is all about.  Good idea on the notebook.  Tell Chaos he's a good boy and give him some extra treats.

SW, I don't blame you for avoiding the Judges that didn't like Chaos. I would do the same thing. I would also be thrilled to have all the positive feedback you got. And Chaos still has some growing to do, so he will only get better.

As for Don, he's just a big goof ball. I'd tell him to grip this!  LOL

LOL, thanks.  Yah friends told me that until he matures a little and starts to fill out some, there's no sense wasting my money at shows if I know for a fact that the judge had something against him the first time.  I totally agree with them.

I think Triodegirl hit the nail on the head. No disrespect intended!

Don, if that is an apology, I accept!  I get a little defensive when someone puts my boy down or has anything bad to say about him.  I will defend him to the end.  He is one awesome dog, long coated or not!

Shepherd Woman

It was an apology.  I never put your boy down.  I was only having a little fun with your half that enjoy the shows.  I'm sure you had fun and it is a heck of a lot better than the people that don't do anything with their dogs.  Show on!

Don's Question could have been legitimate as there WAS bite work competition!!  You must have not partisipated in that. I know someone who did and said that in some ways it was harder than regular Sch.  One of those was how the helpers came at the dog like they were going to kill it. Literally trying to chase and fearful dog away.  The person that I know that competed is a SchH3 dog and he did well.  Another of the differences is that after almost every bite the handler and the helper shake hands and have a short conversation and then the dog has to go right back into obedience during which the helper again, attacks from a hiding place.  You all should go and check it out next time and maybe even enter your schH dogs!  It sounds like fun to me!

lol
