Sorry to hear Xabina isn't feeling well. I bet the 100cc of fluid perked her up enough last night so she would drink and eat. She feels worse this morning isn't a surprise.100cc of fluid is nothing for a dog. Like Rezkat5 said...sounds like a cat dose. I think10cc per pound, or 5 cc/kg sounds betterTwice a day. Question your vet on that. Sounds like a mistake but I'm not a vet. Did the vet send you home with some fluids to continue at home ? Her coordination will be off if her BUN and creatinine are elevated. Sounds like she needs fluid asap as directed by the vet. Possibly the vet only gave 100cc to see what happened and will order more now that lab results are back. Vet may have wanted to make sure nothing in her other labs contraindicated the fluids in a higher dose.Praying for both of you.

4pack how is she doing today?

Not well at all. She ate nothing yesterday or this morning. She did drink some water and went outside to potty, I heard her hacking and she threw up her water so that was pointless. I am going to put her down ASAP. She is not happy, only suffereing misserably. If it was me, I would want someone to do me the same favor.

Thank you. I am keeping our 2 pups crated longer than usual so she can have the backyard to herself. She is laying in the cool grass resting, lifting her head when a neighbor dog barks. When the sun hits her,I will bring her back to her bed inside. She seems content enough and peacefull.
