SchHBabe,

Agree with you, nothing more to add really.

From my experience on other types of boards, not just this one, it is obvious that there are those that use the time they have behind thier computer screen to live out some sort of alter ego or satisfy some facet of thier life that is lacking in real life.  Whether it is sensitivity, caring, abuse, ego, machismo, understanding, or wounded and needy, there always seem to be those that seek these emotions or responses from others on the internet or wish to treat people in a manner in which they would never have the balls to do in person.  You have the ones that prey on the wounded animal and the ones that want to play the wounded animal.

I would have to fall into the "New People" catagory, but I hardly doubt I warrant that kind of response....if so, bring it.  I got somthin for ya.

LMH,

I definately was not referring to your response. It was blunt but it was in reply to a specific statement made by a specific person.  What pissed me off was the "dumbing down of the site by all of these new people" blather.  As one of the new people I would like to know how Peg and Nobleshaft were born knowing everything and were spared the trouble of being a newbie at something. Not to mention the discomfort of the occasionally goofy question. Unfortunately these two lackeys have advanced from goofy questions to inarticulate and intellectually deficient replies.

To repeat, these were the responses of insecure and easily threatened personalities. Quite sad, really.

triodegirl,

Definately dont leave the board over this. I see why you would question that photo just as many others do also. You cant help how others act, but you need to stay on here and learn with rest of us. Overlook the bad comments and learn from the good.

Kelly, you are right. The wannabe alpha dog is here again this morning and all he is doing is pushing Trigger around again, sort of like the bullies push people around on this board. And just like the other day, Trigger is ignoring the wannabe alpha male. I need to take a lesson from Trigger and ignore those who try to make themselves feel more important by name calling and other negative comments.

Atta girl! There's one way to deal with bullies: stand up to them! Most of the are all bark and no bite.  I'm used to it: my occupation (nursing) has a reputation for 'eating its young', meaning older nurses treat the newbies like dirt. Not saying it's right, but you sure learn assertiveness skills in a hurry!

I looked at this pic when this frist started, but didn't post.  After looking at the pic again....I can see how you would think (and it might be) this pics is incorrect.  I totally agree with the whole collar issue....kinda weird! :-)

Looks like a male to me.

I like the looks of the dog.  I think it's perhaps the angle the picture was taken at that makes the head look extra large, not photoshopping.

Just looked at the picture again and it has been modified. Look for the second collar, or part of a collar. That leash has to be attached to something and it isn't the choke.
