True, and true; and the younger, better informed electorate isn't buying what the right is selling anymore. Unfortunately, as I have said, the alternative is horrific. IMO, this is why our Constitution has been under attack, and why the GOP is in the crap that it is in. It's a miracle to me that they still hold the House. To me, the only answer is that we start to "walk the walk" as GSD put it, but, I'm not sure how hopeful I am of that happening. People generally aren't self-starters in this realm, and it may take some significant changes/events before we wake up. I hope it's not too late. I am no longer a practicing Catholic, but I can honestly say that growing up as a Catholic Christian in a diverse industrial city, I had no idea what racism was (beyond a term or idea) until I moved to South as an adult. So while it is very real, it's not universal.

If you are talking about me which I find laughable, I hate injustice and racism. I am guessing you liked the founders sexism, racism and genocide? Sure doesn't surprise me in the least bit. I hate very few things in life but yes racism, sexism and genocide would top my list. I do not hate individuals, I may disagree with a lot of people but I do not hate them although plenty of them appear to hate me and hold a grudge against me but that is on them and not on me.

You see these great founders who put everyone down but the white man, I see the above mentioned things. Remember part of my family was Native American and we were plenty free until guess who showed up so your above comment of how the forefathers paved the way for free speech and all is pretty ludicrous to say the least.

Funny Joan I am dumping on people according to you but when you give your opinions on gun rights you aren't dumping on anyone. I will ask you the same questions I asked Hans how do you feel about immigration, same sex marriage and abortion?

Immigrants need to learn the language, the laws, and pay their taxes, since we can't seem to control our borders.
Actually the fact is we couldn't get by without the farm workers since Americans are too soft for farm labor.
People have the right to love and marry anyone they choose.
Women have the absolute right to decide what to do with their own bodies.

As for my views on gun control, you're correct, I'm not "dumping on anyone". As to your question , that is none of your business. No matter what my answer is, you will use it to belittle and insult me and some how twist it to call me racist, per you usual comments directed at members on this forum. So, I'll not give you that satisfaction.

That was in response to the direct and indirect accusations of me being able to see the likes and dislikes and using my admin status to see those things. I can't see them, no admin can see them. Reminds me of the rumors of I can read PMs and I can intercept Oli's PMs and emails. lol. The same people who perpetuate these rumors are some of the very people who are supposed to work off facts, makes me wonder if their facts are really facts or their take on the facts.

Of course it is none of my business as it flies in the face of your great freedom, liberty and constitutional hypocrisy.
