She's going to have to prove 63, Ibrahim! ...  Now I can find 67! Ha!....... I have it this way, I forgot to count the other Isosceles triangles, that were not "blank".

Largest, EQU (equilateral)  =   1
LGest, Isosceles Rt Angle  =  2
Large, EQU                       =   4
LG, Isosceles Rt Angle       =  4
Medium, EQU                    = 12
MED, Isosceles Rt Angle    =   4
Small, EQU                        =  36
SMALL, Isosceles Rt Angle =   4

Wowwwwwwwwwwww, our genius woman......................... I confirm the triangles you counted are all correct triangles but who can confirm that there aren't more triangles you're not seeing?!

If you are taking part in a running contest

1. If you take over the last contestant, then in what position do you become in?
2. If you take over the 2nd contestant, then in what position do you become in?

My Answers:

1.  It is ambiguous on the number of contestants and I must assume it is a lap race, even if you are the first contestant. However, no matter what, we can only say with certainty, that I am the second to last place contestant. I may also be in first place, second place, third place, etc.

2.  Here the problem is, again, we don't know how many other contestants there are and can not assume that their number is also their place.  So, if you and I are the only two contestants, I would be the first contestant in first place. If there are more than two contestants, and the second contestant is in second place as well, then all I can say for certain is I would now be in second place.

HMMM....A contestant is someone who takes part in a competition. It does not allude to what "position" they are in during that competition....so I don't think you can give a difinitive answer...you said "last contestant" but that's different IMO than saying "last place contestant"....

I'm probably splitting hairs, but the original poster gave a somewhat vague description..... lol

Bee, that gibberish, My Answer, from you made MY head spin, LOL. I can't "prove it", cause it all started blurring and so I quit counting at 63.
