Yup, looks pretty darn healthy for a dying dog!

And her threatening the vet with legal action if she speaks with you confirms my suspicions that this is all a load of crock!

some dwarf dying dog!  looks pretty bright eyed and bushy tailed to me!

we will ever know what is really going on with this dog??

What a pretty dog! Isn't it interesting how they change color like that. That coat change is really unusual. I have a sable bitch and dog and neither of them went through that type of coat change. Yep, Zach looks very healthy and normal for a puppy his age. He looks WAY over 28 pounds, comparing him to the adult Shepherd in the picture behind him. He also doesn't look like a long-coat to me. His body hair is plushy with what looks like normal for this time of year undercoat. That's not a coated dog, is it?

Definitely a longcoat, no doubt! Weight and size is hard to judge by just a photo, but looking at the picture at 5 weeks: Well, as a breeder I have to say that small size would have worried me! But maybe different lines grow different! I have a couple of 13 week old males here from my last litter, and their weight is around 28 pounds. Other than that, the puppy looks pretty "normal" to me.

Malinda, out of curiosity: Do you always "mix up" your lines like that? What kind of benefit do you expect from that? And hats off to you that you can sell puppies out of untitled parents for $3,500. That is a nice profit, especially when you own both, sire and dam. I know for a fact that prospective puppy buyers could buy at least two puppies for that price in Germany, regardless of show or workinglines. Do police departments actually buy 12 week old puppies? I know that here in the Washington DC metro area, they do not, federal or local. I have once helped the Prince Georges County PD acquire 5 or 6 males directly from Germany. They were all hip certified and guaranteed/tested for dual purpose. And all of them were cheaper than these puppy prices. Granted that this was in the mid-90s, it is still a difference in prices. The PG PD assured me in writing a year later that these were the best K-9s they ever had. My husband (also LEO) and I had visited the NRW State Police in Germany in Stukenbrock. A lot of PDs here know them, they used to go there for K-9 seminars. The commander, Mr. Macziewski, mentioned the Alabama State Police, some PDs in Texas and California, plus Israeli PDs  on a regular basis. This State Police has their own breeding program and breeds under SV regulations (SchH titles, breed survey, show rating etc.). Their kennel name is "von den Sennequellen" and under breeder's name you will find: Polizei des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen! However, they do place and /or sell their puppies and will not evaluate them for work until much older!

Ok this lady is not happy with the dog so send it back and get the refund seems like a no brainer to me.

As for not wanting to return the dog,  Well anyone got a refund from Wal Mart without returning the product??

Why should this be any different.  Return the product get your money and go away ..

As for the picture of Zack did not know a defective and dying dog could look so good (Did she groom him for this death scene)

Where is the $3500 coming from? These people bought a pet puppy for $800.00. Has nothing to do with the dogs she trains or sell to pd...

K9cop5 and yellorose of Texas,

I am not writing about this puppy. Would not want to get involved in that dispute.

I browsed through her website. Please check out her puppy sales. She sells all puppies for $ 3,500 with full registration, regardless of their individual quality. We all know that you get long coats, males with non-descendant testicles, small size etc. Parents of these puppies are untitled and some only have OFA prelims. If you can't find this site, please let me know and I will provide a link for you.

That is what I was questioning!

Chris

What Malinda or any other breeders advertises/sells their puppies for is none of your f...... business!

It is a free market and no one forces you or anyone else to buy anything. No different than people selling a VA dog for $100,000's. to me that is insane but if people are willing to pay then more power to them.

Plus Malinda runs a first class training facility and provides tons of training from SAR to police k9 to rescue dogs. she does all of this for the love of it and i promise you she is not getting rich but even if she was theirs's nothing wrong with making a profit. Thats what we all do to survive.

ii guess you can see your little superior liberal attitude rubs me the wrong way.

you people have ran this in the ground and need to back off!
