What I described was the only option the breeder gave me. I won't go into all the negative aspects of my dealings with Wendelin. I would encourage people to seek out their local clubs because they will probably find that their are good dogs much closer than they realize. Then they won't have to trust a breeder a thousand miles away to try to pick them a puppy.

and here we go again....as the breeder of this pup let me explain, he bought a pup several years ago by Gaby z Jeniku and Caro van Brandevoort, an excellent litter, puppies with lots of drive. He was not happy as his puppy had no food drive he told me and that he would not be able to train her, that's all. I told him at that time (several years ago) if you are not happy send me the puppy back and I will send you an other one from an other litter. You also were not happy as the pup was small...well guess the stud dog is a KNPV dog who is quite small. Maybe you should of done your homework before importing a dog. I still don't understand what you expected from the breeder?? What more could I have done then exchange you the dog? The dog was not sick or anything....I do have health guarantees and in the case a dog would of been sick or something wrong health wise I do send replacement without asking to send the dog back? But that wasn't the case at that time.

Well I really wasn't going to post publicly any negatives...but, The dog came to me severely under weight at 4 months old. It not only had no food drive it would barely eat at all. So I worked with the dog for quite a while and contacted you with my concerns which were brushed aside by a breeder that refused to believe that the dog had problems. The only problem that I had with you is that at 4 months old you should have been able to evaluate and tell me that the dog had eating problems and was undersized. My fault is that I trusted a breeder that I could not confront in person. I had to take your word that the dog was great and then once I had her well I was stuck. You did finally agree to take the dog back but I chose to cut my losses and sell the dog to a pet home rather than eat another $1100 in shipping and deal with you.

I can now only try to convince everyone that I deal with at my club and any other club that I come in contact with when those new people come and are talking about a puppy I advise to never get a puppy from a breeder that you can't see for yourself. Thanks for the learning experience.

I don't think anyone should buy a dog anywhere, anytime without several visits in person to the kennel and breeder..... so much drama could be avoided.

Secondly I personally would not buy from a breeder who did not demand to meet the buyer in person before a puppy was shipped to god knows who, proven good repeat customers excluded.

I went back in my youtube files from almost 3 years ago and here is the video of the 3 females, the sable is yours, she was a super female. I wish I would never have sent you the female, knowing that you could not do anything with her. I can't believe that she was underweight, again this was a litter where all the dogs were on the smaller side as the sire of those pups is a very small KNPV dog, you can't expect 80lbs dogs from that breeding. I think that raising , evaluating and testing puppies is actually my specialty and what I think I am good at it. I have shipped many many puppies over all those years and most people are happy with the dog i have chosen for them. Well unfortunately it did not work for you, maybe we didn't talk enough before you made the decision to buy this female pup.

3 little girls in Christina's video all look like normal, healthy pups to me. @e2multy, if a dog's 'food drive' is low for training purposes, use 'toy drive' instead - puppies are individuals. They have their own likes and dislikes, and differences. Nothing wrong so far with the prey drive in those 3 puppies in the video, although I'd guess it was slightly better in the black with her ears up already ? (Wonder how she turned out ?) If you do not understand how to get a new puppy to eat, or how to harness drives for training, and cannot make fair assessment of what a dog's weight SHOULD be, based on parentage etc, WTF are you doing buying a GSD in the first place ?
