Swarmendu- I knew when I came here from reading all the arguements I was jumping into King Ælla's wolf pit https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Vikings_(1958_film) :) The title of my thread afterall is Puppy Handler Agression.

However, good news! This morning and this afternoon's 15 minute training sessions were problem free and fun. This is what I did with the down command. No hand signals at all, the verbal down command only. What do you know? She lies right down without complaints. She knows the hand signals to lie down and to sit. From now on we will only use them for distance work. Also, a great deal more praise and play was involved. We have been acting like like drill sergeants and she is just a puppy, although she weighs 50 lbs.

Kaffirdog- I am hanging up the prong collar for now. Just the cloth martingale will do. It did teach her not to pull.

Mindhunt- I figured I was doing something wrong. Inga told me herself.
