My male does the yoga stretch, he enthusiastically jumps into to rear of my SUV, onto beds ( where he knows he's not allowed); & he's dysplastic. Came from 7 generations of good hips. What's a dog to do? He's no less my buddy due to his hips, tho it did sideline our hopes for trialling him. But you could never tell by anything he does. My girl does the I'll just put my paws up, but if just she & I are around, she'll happily jump up on the bed, in the SUV, where ever. Her prelims were very good.
I guess what I'm getting at is our dogs are very stoic, & behavior doesn't always equal anatomy. If your worried get X-rays.
