Thank you everyone for all the nice words..

 

I got a call this morning from my vet... Ice's remains are ready. I had him cremated and got a nice wood ern for him. It will be nice to finally have him home for good. 

Finally Ice is home for good... I picked him up yesterday. He is now sitting on the desk that my other 3 German shepherds and my cat are on. 

I  am relieved to finally have him home where he should be. 

Welcome home, Ice, and rest in peace knowing you are loved. 

I can not believe that it has been 6 months since Ice passed away.. For some reason today I have been thinking about him alot, then I realized it had been 6 months today since he passed away.. I put Ice to sleep on June 21, 2015.. and today it is December 21, 2015.

I still miss my beautiful boy!! I still keep wondering why it had to be him that had so many issues. He happened into my life for a short time for a reason.. although it was only 2 years, it was a memorable to years for sure.

Right now I only have my 9.5 year old female.

They ARE and WILL BE around us forever...You can feel them sometimes looking over your shoulder...or guiding you...They are always there...

I have lost and had to put down a lot of dogs...Each one is so Damn hard to lose...I cry and mourn...I have a number of dogs...but each one is SOOOoooo special...

I'm so glad you have such good memories of your "Ice"...Keep those in your mind and you will be better for having him around you...
