I bet you could all make the established breeds super intresting by giving them trendie new names! (At least for a day, Just for fun)
Modern Dogaroo Creatures in their Urban environment,
The Standard Says Caring for a Dogaroo is one of the most noblest things,
but making your own is reprehensible.
BTW that ancient images is real and ancient too.

Really thought about it, but I am not able to imagine any "guilty pleasure breed" living with me. I simply don´t like pets "only".
A dog has to protect me, a cat has to fetch mice and rats, and I need to be able to ride a horse, otherwise these animals don´t make sense to me ( not talking about veterans, they clearly deserve their life without a job with me ).
In case there are no more GSD´s, I´d start looking for another working breed ( Hollandse Herder or old bred Dobermans ) - but as long as the GSD ( as I like it ) does exist, this breed will always be my only choice.

I have never been at all serious about any other breed than the GSD, either -
but have reached a point now where I know I should think about a smaller
dog, next, if I go on having one at all. Age & infirmity catching up !

Always loved and wanted a nice blue merle aussie or Border Collie. Wouldn't say no to a nice Doberman either. And if I *had* to have a small dog it would have to be a sheltie or a corgi,
But of course, I will always have a soft spot for Golden Retrievers.

A "Wiener Dog!"
after all, the races look like so much FUN!
So, why did the cowboy get a Dachshund ?
He wanted a to get a long little Doggie.
