Vk, I hope you have done some research and realized the acronym, PEta, is misleading at best and an antithesis at the core. They are all animals worst enemy. As for your comment on treatment of commercially produced beef, etc., no one needs the likes of Peta to cause the necessary changes in that industry...changes are happening in spite of Peta.

VVK, PETA believes keeping domestic animals is unethical. They believe all domestic animals should be turned loose and allowed to fend for themselves, without human intervention. Of course, that means most of our domestic animals would starve, especially the dogs. Can you imagine a pekinese trying to catch its own prey? 

They usually euthanize even perfectly healthy dogs and cats almost immediately after they are surrendered. Their philosophy is the animal is better off dead than a 'prisoner'!
