IMHO, training is the issue.

How many who protection train allow the helper to do corrections during training?

From what I saw in the video, those dogs were trained allowing helper corrections during training and reacted in real life exactly as they did in training. Once a grip is made, it should not be disengaged until commanded by the handler, period.

I've made the mistake of allowing helper corrections with my first dog, it will not happen with the next one.

I honestly think this was a training issue.

in this situation, without any excuses, the first dog should have taken him down, period, many of todays dogs perform well on the suit and sleeve as in trained behaviour, the percentage of dogs passing real civil testing or are willing to engage without problem after being muzzled is amazingly low

Mike Tyson (paraphrased) - Lots of guys are tough until you hit them in the mouth.

None of them Wink Smile

I tend to go with the street fighter, who isn´t afraid to get harmed, but becomes more agressive the more pressure is exerted from the opponent.
( some training, some obedience = my kind of dog...)

i think they should bring back moats filled with hungry sharks, sharks in a moat beats tyson + Chan.

oh please, you're down under.  Probably still hooked on Hasslehoff and the A-team.  You haven't even met Tyson and Chan yet
