Blitzen: That is too funny about the robin! You'll have to keep me posted if you do decide on a playmate for Blitz. There was a dark sable male posted on here a week or so back. I sent the link to my husband and received a resounding...NO! He thinks 2 GSDs are enough. Shhh...don't tell him but I do agree. However, this boy was beautiful! Have a nice weekend.

I rarely look at any of the ads, they are too tempting. We will be retiring in less than 3 years and the plan is to become vagabonds living fulltime in an RV following the nice weather and seeing the country. We are thinking that one big dog might be enough for that sort of life LOL. We also have an Invisible Fence. Out first GSD broke through it a few times until we had his collar "beefed up". Blitz never goes near the boundary, all it took was one mild correction to teach him. I've thought a lot about an adult dog, maybe a rescue, but the fence gives me concern; some dogs just don't care about the correction and they are gone. So for now it looks like poor pathetic Blitz is destined to be an only child and forced to play with birds LOL.
