During puppy hood his hocks were loose and wobbly so I started on zinc, which firmed up the hocks and not to forget free running and play.

500 gms beef contains some heart, liver, kidney, stomach meat, spleen, lungs, head meat, tongue, chest meat, legs, & neck meat. All mixed up.

Some dogs do well with one feeding per day, some don't. Ones who vomit yellow foam need to eat more frequent, smaller meals. Feed your dog in the morning, late afternoon, a few hours before he goes to bed at night. Don't give him more food, just spread it out more. It's not rocket science.

Along same topic....  Rose still frequently vomits 1st thing in the morning.  Do you think feeding something lite every evening before bed would help (I have tried every thing else)?

How long has this been going on?

Buddy my dog is a voracious eater. He eats anything including medication such as drontal plus. Its been going on for a month. Once he finishes eating he licks his bowl for 10 min and gives me a sad look that he wants more. He finishes in less than 3 minutes.

I would do exactly what Blitzen does " I feed her 3 meals, 7 AM, 4 PM and a small amount at at 8 to 9 PM. That stops it'. Re: the7-8 pm meal, its sometimes just left over scraps from dinner.  Some have pushed for a once/day feeding based on the argument that  wolves in the wild dont eat 3 times/day. I am not sure that's a good idea, even though it may work for some dogs.

yes one meal a day works on some dogs. My younger GSD has no issues. However, the elder one has this issue of vomiting

gautam,
What has changed in the last month?

Have you increased the amount as the dog has grown?

Could he be ready for more, does he feel lean or does he feel fat?
Feel not look for condition.

Two Moons, or simply Moons, we're not buddies just yet.

My Lab had this problem for years and I tried everything.  This is what it turned out to be in his case his gall bladder was three times the size it should have been and was completely impacted with bile that had turned black. The gall bladder itself had adhered to the abdominal wall.  Gall bladder gone - vomitting gone.    Not saying this is your problem and I hope it isn't.  Just saying an xray is a good and relatively cheap way to determine it..
