It sounds like everyone is in agreement about the satin balls. I use them when we get skinny dogs into rescue and they work wonders. Other than that, I also feed a raw diet. Check with your local butcher to see if you can get ground scraps at a cheap price. I pay about 80cents per pound here in western WA. As previously mentioned, chicken when on sale is a good deal also. If you want to stick with kibble, it is worth it to pay for the better stuff - Orijen, Acana, Fromm's or other limited ingredient/grain-free options. You pay more, but the dog eats less and utilizes more of what they take in. That means more weight on the dog and less "output." A final thought is that at 2 years, she may just be a teenager burning off those calories.and will start to fill out as she matures. She is a pretty dog. Good luck with her.
