I feel the xray is not as clear as it could be so I would want something better quality there..
As far as positioning, In my opinion, the legs are rotated out (as seen by the patellas being on the outside of center) I would want to see them in the middle of the joint. I feel that rotating the leg out can make the hip appear to have more laxity than it really has. (essentially rotating out, will pull the ball further out of socket).
7 months is too young for me to be making any major decisions on a dog.
I would wait 5 months or so and re-do A LOT can happen in that time.
