Moons, I always wanted portable device and I was considering to get myself laptop at least 17 inch or bigger but the problem is highend laptops that are bigger than 17 inch screen is a bit bulky and to heavy to be portable, plus laptops don't have 4k resolution. So when I saw this tablet it got me interested the only thing it might be to expensive lol

That would be my concern, the price.
I've had computers and laptops, maintenance is another issue, a lap top can be very expensive to have worked on.
I work on my own computers.
Hand held devices forget it, they usually just trade you up to the next model.

Can't tell you how many times I've been ripped off by HP.

If that's what you like and want I'd say get it if you can afford it.

Beyond that what I said about devices and kids still holds true.
They learn how to click but not how to write or even spell.
And they become obsessed with it all.

I guess it's just a personal choice but I don't like electronic devices..
I've got windows 8 on a laptop and man does it ever suck.

That is one big tablet! I wouldn't buy it personally, it is way too big! I say something like that would/may cost $3-4,000 (minimum); actually, I'm waiting for the new Ipad to come out to see if they made any changes and if not I hope they lower the Ipad with retina at least by $100-150.00.

I love technology, but I did hate when they stopped supporting Windows XP, I knew that system so well I could go in and reconfigure things and delete certain files if I ever got viruses on it! It was so user-friendly!!

Moons, I still have a hotmail account (now live.com) and they switched over to Outlook with some features of Windows 8, I hate it!! I miss the old Hotmail/MSN, because I had a lot of contacts I lost because they sold the company and deleted a lot of the accounts.

So I can't even recover my old account! That is one bad thing about technology, you can never recover anything that isn't on the computer it was on. I used to be able to get the account details back on my first computer, but it got thrown out without me knowing so I could get everything off of it.
