Thanks to everyone for there responses. I even appreciate those who had some very derogatory and disparaging comments. Those help as well. I had class which started a 9 and ended at 9:50. I took her to the vet and she is fine. She just had an upset stomach. The vet could feel any obstruction or anything. I was told she may have ingested something while we went walking or something off the floor which is very common for puppies to do. She is fine and eating every morsel of the cheap food (Iams) which I am feeding her. Also the longest she is by herself is no more than four hours. She is a house dog so she is not couped up in a kennel all day like many of your dogs. She has never seen a kennel actually and I have a backyard. I have plenty common sense, and Im sorry that I don't give my dogs priority over class and I don't spend $$$ on feeding my dogs. I love my dog dearly but I still know that she is a dog. And if I decide to breed her that is my choice, whether you like it or not. There are many people who have constantly stated 98% of people want a pet not some high strung schutzhund dog or some glamourous show dog to have trophies to be admired. I love my dog and I know that I am a great owner and I give her the best care within my means and I refuse to spend all this money like many of you.
Thanks again for the help. I will continue to post questions as they arise. I have owned shepherds before but like everyone, learning is never ceasing.
Thanks

10mins, Glad to hear all is well !! Good for you for continuing to learn, Some folks don't see the value in the continuation of ones education, Others do.

Woo hoo!! Im glad to hear that puppy is okay.

Echo--She just said she doesn't give priority to her dogs over a class that ran from 9 to 9:50AM. It's wonderful there was nothing serious here. (I, thought as Hexe did--a possible obstruction). Whatever---Miss the class next time, gimme10mins. Most problems turn out to be nothing serious, but you took on the care and responsibility of that puppy---don't play the odds. Education is a fine thing, always obtainable---decency you can't take a course in.

Gimme10min,
The education you are going to get some day is how fast a vomiting puppy/dog can die! I am glad that your puppy is ok but, even though it IS a dog, it does not have the ability to take its self to the doctor when it is sick! This puppy relies on YOU! Never fail your dog, never deny it medical attention, never neglect it because this puppy may grow up and lay it's life down for YOU some day and it will be glad to do it! Just like you should have at the very least called your vet by the 3rd time it had thrown up! Or shown some glimpse of URGENCY to seek a vet! This dog sees you as the leader of it's country! Do you think for one minute your leader would intentionally let you down? Politics aside please!!!!!
Shame on you this time! I hope you will do better next!

When you have animals and they rely on you for their life, all other considerations must come after. Class, family functions, weddings, you name it.
You asked for advise, people here gave you the best advise there is. You come back and rank on people for all dogs not being house dogs?
"...Also the longest she is by herself is no more than four hours. She is a house dog so she is not couped up in a kennel all day like many of your dogs. She has never seen a kennel actually and I have a backyard...."
If she has free run of the house with no supervision for any length of time at her age who knows what she's eating.
I'm glad she's okay but get your priorities straight. When you ask for help be ready for blunt answers. When you get answers don't follow up with insults to the people trying to give you GOOD advise.

Im sorry I dont' put priority of my dog over family or education. I appreciated the advice I even thanked those who were very negative. I don't feel that when a person asks a question no matter how dumb it may sound to someone, the response should not be so negative. That is a waste of time and space. Answer the question as simple as "Get the dog to the vet right away!!!" would have been suffient. But all these common sense remarks and others were not necessary. That is offensive and that is all a lot of you people do is bash people for posting questions that may not be as obvious for them as it is to others. The site is to educate. Not only am I trying to be educated in my major but I am also learning from others the breed. But thanks again.

You may want to try a crate. I know my dogs seem to like the crate. They eat there and will always find treats there. My male will sometimes take bones into his crate to chew. It gives them a place of thier own where they can feel safe. When my eyes cant be directly on my pup, shes in her crate. I know if I let her run around shed be eating all types of stuff and Id be on here frantic as hell. Try crating her, it make everyones life a little easier and this way, you know whats going into that little mouth. Good luck!

Gimme10mins,
Well, the way I see it you get what you asked for! I personally don't want to ever hear about your dog being sick, injured or dead! I will be sad for the dog and enraged that you did not put priority on your pet and it died! You will not find pitty here!
I am so sorry for your puppy that you don't value it's life! It is an attitude like this that lands dogs in the shelter every day also! Yes, it is only a dog but ya know, that class will be there next semester! Your family/spouse, sig. other, room mate, can take care of other family matters while you tend to the dog! If your dog dies you have to live with that forever, but your dog isn't priority (your words there!) so I don't suppose you would have one ounce of guilt for not seeking a vet!
And as far as you bashing us for giving you negative reply's. The answer is OBVIOUS! Get the dog to the vet, NOW! We have to assume someone asking such a question NEEDS all the other common sense answers we can provide, we ARE FORCED TO ASSUME THE PERSON ASKING SUCH A QUESTION IS AN IMBASILE!
I don't see that anyone here is being unfair to you! This should have been a basic common sense conclusion you SHOULD have gathered on your own!
I should hope I never sell one of my puppies to a person who has to come on a BB and ask such a question!

gimme10mins, You just sunk your own ship on this one.
you say "Im sorry I dont' put priority of my dog over family or education"
So I guess your "Dog" isn't part of your family? What was your motives into getting this puppy? For guarding your house or to be a loving companion for your family? That is so sad when a dog owner say such a thing over their dogs health. I bet if it was your son or daughter... you would be marching over to the Emergency room right away and get medical attention for the child.
As much as you say you love you dog... I honestly do not believe it. If you loved your dog so much... you would NEVER say such a quote like this:
"Im sorry that I don't give my dogs priority over class and I don't spend $$$ on feeding my dogs. I love my dog dearly but I still know that she is a dog."
