I think Kitkat if you buy a dog for a specific purpose and it fails hips/elbows as long as you place the dog into a loving home altered, what is wrong with that?
I bred a male that was a nice dog, had great drive, a bit short for me but overall he was nice. He didnt pass his hips so I neutered him and placed him into a pet home. He was fighting with a golden retriever constantly so I placed him. Now he lives in CO.
