So, answer the question since you keep blaming this all on mental illness, how do we know if the guy buying weapons has mental illness or if the guy owning a dozen guns has mental illness? How do we control this mental illness angle? What do you suggest?

I agree with you 100 % there are plenty of things that cause PTSD and they are all as real as combat. Some my even be worst (lol) than combat.

And Nancy Lanza brought her mentally unstable son, Adam to the shooting range, thinking it was a nice mommy-son bonding therapy. Why you needed me to repeat that for you when it is common knowledge is once again, beyond reason for me.

Violent gang rape is worse, repeated sexual molestation is worse. Being in a classroom or movie theater and watching all your classmates get blown away or your friends all die just may be worse than combat.
So, a grown man can't take combat but a six year old child can take combat in his classroom, what a joke.

Don't really know why we have to equate every tragedy with war and combat. If an experience causes someone mental anguish, it doesn't matter what caused it. But, they should get the help they need.
