OH no....i will pray for you and your dogs..I hope the shooter can tell the difference..but I think form above the sable gsds would be harder to tell than the saddled ones....which are yours?

This is obvious, but sometimes when you're stressed you can't think about the obvious stuff.. Have you called BLM and told them of your dogs being out there loose? They'd probably be willing to suspend operations for a couple of days or at the very least warn the shooters to be on the lookout for 2 GSD's. They might even spot them and would then have your number to notify you.
Does this happen often? Is there a fenced area for them?
My prayers go out to your dogs. I hope you locate them soon.

I was snowed in yesterday, had to shovel for 3 hours to get the car and van out. Not normally snowed in because of the amount of snow that has fallen, it get blown in across my neighbors yard and stays in my drive because of my fence.. I have a guy that lives up the alley and he normally plows me out but he had gotten snowed in at the farm the night before, so he had to worry about that, and the cows. I love the cold and the snow, but I don't like 1 am and 5 am potty breaks. Dream(5mos) seems to have to go out then and it has been so windy she comes in and is a white shepherd for about 5 mins before she thaws and turns back to her black self. I just hope my blue GSD Lena is safe with whomever has taken her, it has been some awfully cold nights the last few days. Your welcome to come visit sometime, I have a big house, with a wood stove and lots of coffee and hot cocoa.

Ranchinglady-
I hope your dogs are home now. Why don't you take a look at those cheap, bright orange vests that some of the dogs wear. You could never miss that color, and might prevent a hunter in the future from mistaking them for a target.
Vomveiderheiss-Someone has probably taken her in.
