The breed standard, as far as I know does not mention the term 'beautiful' as a desirable component in the dogs appearance. Do you know something I don't?
Deliberate vague and ambiguous definitions will ON expose you as either misinformed or intentionally disingenuous.
Moreover, I vaguely remember something about Stephani's using the tern 'regal'.
BTW, your friend (mandalas) had zero possibility to specifically bred (I l use the term loosely) for any attributes, including any preventing genetic health issues.
None of which prevented her for selling these pups for &400.00 each, offering advanced obedience training at an additional cost.
Please, lets support all the responsible breeders devoting their time and money for the betterment of the breed. Being selective and not condoning byb breeding is the responsible thing to do.

Those who are familiar with my litter know not to give a AKC show level critique, as it is a waste of everyone's time; she will not pass (too thin, flaw in the nose). They also know that I am generally more after "does my dog look healthy" and are there any issues that an experienced person can see visually (i.e. weak hocks). They also know my litter was not created for the show ring or protection, they were created for handicap service dogs.
Cirberus' turned out to have a surprise temperament. Many on this forum have given me ideas and directions to channel her so that she can be her best. For this I am eternally thankful.
Thanks for everyone's input. Max is doing well too. He is becoming quite the solid tank. I'll work to get some pictures up soon.

"Not to insult you, but that's not stack pics! Those are freestand shots. Not that they are bad, just not a stacked pic. can't really tell anything about conformation with those." I say you have it exactly bass ackwards. The show stack is worthless. It's used for covering up faults. I think the dog is very nice. |
