all I can speak of is around the Tallahassee area, but dogs with tatoos get put down all the time because of having no idea what they mean. sometimes the tatoo isn't even seen untill the dog is put down. sad but the truth.

Thats a real shame, it works quite well in the UK - although you wouldn't think so from
the degree of antipathy from Government &c; the monetary interests mean the chip
companies do all the lobbying. I suppose USA has problems of scale that we don't have,
also.
