Marjorie your boy is gorgeous!!  I love that saying... the proof is in the pudding. Casey is some lucky boy!!

As an aside, my two old rescue horses get garlic all the time in their horse feed. The product is called Barrier and it claims to help with the flies around them.  They both get a scoop everyday and I think it really helps.

Thanks, Eldee :) I think he is gorgeous but I just might be biased ;) CJ was purchased as show dog. His gait is amazing, even with 2 bad elbows, in addition to the problem he had with his neck injury, so he wont be shown and he certainly wont be bred. I love him for who is he, not if he is showable, or breedable, so I guess he is lucky he ended up with me. No way would I ever return a dog to a breeder. When I commit, I commit with all my heart, thus the cooking for him.

I'm a commiter too.  I don't give up on family. I've been to hell and back with Maya and her EPI and all along I kept having to tell the doubters that I will fix her up.  So many people thought I was crazy to keep her going with this disease, but now it's easy.  Soak kibble, enzymes, vitamins and feed.  It's all good now.

I dont care for the chicken fat listed in the first 7 ingredients and I am not a fan of food preserved with citric acid. JMHO, of course...

Fat is not the issue, it's thought how it's preserved is the issue- fat preserved with citric acid is thought to contribute to bloat. If the fat is preserved purely with mixed tocopherols, it's not considered an issue.
