I really miss the updates on your GSD training and pigeon races.

I think your pup must be growing up to be a big boy by now.

Sure would be great to see pictures.

I am pro recombining the forums like they were before, I notice the activity in the conformation forum in regards to topics is limited and work members contribution is minimum on the conformation forum, some of the best knowledgable members on conformation are actually work members. I feel at the moment if I start a conformation post on the GSD forum it gets more contribution than putting it on the conformation forum but when I start such a topic which should belong to the conformation forum on the GSD one I feel guilty, so let's rejoin the forums, most of my friends here are from the work side while my interests are more in the show because it is too difficult to understand and practice work aspects when we have no clubs in my area.

Ibrahim, does this mean you think the WL people have become more tolerant of the SL people, (their preferences on dogs, really,) on this board? I agree the traffic is scattered but the quality on the Conformation forum is very good, I think because it doesn't have to be defended against all the time. I'd hate to see things revert to the never-ending-argument, again. Then again, there are those charismatic posters who just aren't posting any more. So who knows?



Wasn't Steve1's new pup named Hector? He sold Izzy, and Gina was his brother's dog. I miss hearing about the pup's upbringing, too. Steve was awesome with that stuff.

Beetree, no I don't think Wll people are more tolerant of Sl people, but maybe the quarrels are a little less. You know, I don't find myself 100% in either of the show or work sides, I love both and think both are not what the GSD is supposed to be. I also think the best discussions are those where you see both views from the Sl and Wl people presented in a decent and respectful manner.
What is not pleasing is the fact that most Wl people do not share their views on the conformation forum, moreover pure conformation topics in life are limited. I find myself more beneficial in show (structure) topics as it is the thing I feel I understand and can share in, on the other hand I enjoy temperament topics but can't really ad value in such topics as I lack experience and tools, I also think some of the loveliest and most knowledgeable members here are on the Wl shore.

Wow, I have missed a lot.  I had no idea Steve had sold Izzy bitch...what happened there?  I thought she was working out to be an awesome SchH dog.  I knew he had a new pup but didn't know Izzy was gone.
