And I quote:
"It,s not"
Isn,t a negitive answer.
No reason to get your panties in a bunch Y.R.:
I have no "vision" but the activity im my opinion isn,t a good judgeing factor of dominance in a pup or a adult i,ve seen it in litters as well as weak adults. There are far better markers to judge dominance factors. IMHO.

no one here said it was a factor of Determining dominance. I just thought I missed something I need to know about.
I would not want GUYGSD to think anyone was referring that it is a bad fault and that his dog was crazy or needed to be put on meds.
It is not is a negative not a positive.
I did not get any panties in a wad....just want it made clear that we were not testing a pup ..just making talk on the db.
Perfectly normal trait as far as I can find..If someone has different knowledge we need to know.
I would say quit giving the dog stuffed toys...go to KONGS< BALLS :and ropes with knots in them...bones, and big Tuff TOYS..

Normal puppy behavior. PUPPY behaviour ?? Mine's never grown out of trying to hump anything and everything - including air humping - when he's in that mood. He'll be ten just before Xmas. 10 YEARS, that is.

haha, YR, I didn't think they needed meds. The ones who have done this all grew out of it, as most do. Though there is another forum I'm part of, a woman said her little dog still does this (I think he's a few years old now) to his stuffed toys all the time.....and I won't go on to say what else happens, but oh my word.....

I would not worry about it.. I have a very dog aggesive dominate Jack russell/Beagle mix that will try to attack then hump. I got her at about 4 months old and she was so messed up I have no clue what happened to her in her short life. However humping on stuffed toys does not sound like a dominance thing.
