he looks to me similar to the pic you posted so i gues he is a long coat we just got to wait and see because it changes as they grow.

What a beautiful puppy, and yes, now I'd bet chocolate he is indeed a long stock coat. 
I don't agree with YR that all LSC's have collie snouts though. ;)

NOT ALL BUT COMPARE PICS OF LONG COATS WHEN ADULTS AND YOU CAN SEE. MAHON'S DAD  was an akc judge many yrs ago  ...a german shepherd judge and his dad raised many a litter and the LC was very prevalent in the ASL dogs..

HE has himself now raised several litters with long coat pups in it and he also being a Professional gsd trainer for 37yrs...has seen many of them..

The second picture is  one out of my Bear Jerome sire who is out of a Uran v Wildsteigerland/Lava v Korbelbach son , where LC is very popular..

I have several others also, like the pup posted above was a lc and I have one in South TEXAS , Jeremiah that was a LC..
