Oh, poor Velcro. Thinking about him longing for his beloved friend brought tears to my eyes. If only we could explain things to them... I can imagine how difficult it must be to see Velcor in such a state.

DM is a horrible disease. I by no means want to go thru this again, but I did learn alot about DM in the process. I had heard about it before but did not know anything about it. From now on I am going to DM test ALL my dogs before I purchase them and also all my dogs that I plan on breeding. It is such an easy test, I honestly dont know why people do not test their dogs more often for it. I will be adding a link about DM to my website also.

I do feel really bad for poor Velcro. He comes to me alot and meows at me and has that look like "where is my friend"... I know with time both him and I will get over it.. but it is sad to see him longing for his friend.

I know it does not help the pain...but my heart goes out to you and the poor kitty. DM or not, I know he was a blessing to you. Such a beautifully masked dog that could also work. I am sure you gave him joy. He is back with the angels now...where dogs belong when they aren't here on earth showing us what real love is all about. I am so very, very sorry.
