  Hi Barry

I won't say to much about the speed as you know it "can" create a problem, But I see the dog start to speed up at times before he gets to some food (top line starts to bounce more and dog is almost in a trot a couple of times). If he doesn't hit the food he "may" speed up even more...Just something to watch in training....

But for the trial coming up there is a couple of things you can do to save your self some points.

 1. If you are going to sit the dog before the start flag it must be 2 meter before the flag, you are right on top of it....

FCI rules page 69 states:  "At the direction of the judge (LR), the dog is taken slowly and calmly to the scent pad
and started. Briefly sitting prior to the track (approx. 2 meters) is permitted
. "

 2. The dog keeps touching the articles while you are approaching. Try to get him to stop this. I am sure it is some
kind of "show me" type training thing but it will cost you points in a trial.

FCI rules page 70 States:  "Any action done with the article or picking up while lying down is faulty."

I don't know if your country has a variance to these rules, if so, then you are fine...But these are according to the FCI 2012 IPO rules.

 Hope this helps some.
