As stated from my previous post, I've worked with both kennels in the past. If I purchase another dog again I'll be buying from Eurosport / Zwinger vom Himmel or a breeder here in the states.

If you purchase an adult female make sure she isn't infertile. If you purchase a male for work & he doesn't work out because of lack of drives / way under size these are things that aren't covered in a warranty after paying lots of $$$. Make sure to see video of the puppy / dog & all health clearances done. If the dog has X-rays listed but not certify then have your vet look at the X-rays. They aren't all good just because the X-rays are on display. Go to a breeder who will stand behind their dogs even if things arise not listed in a warranty.
Good luck

I have a 2 y.o. male out of Rasto z. Eurosport.  I like Rasto and had an opportunity to purchase my male as an adult.  Although he is not directly from Eurosport, he carries a lot of their dogs in his lines.  He is a super dog.  There is also a dog in our club from Eurosport and he is also very nice.  If I were in the market I would consider Eurosport; from my experiences.  I have never had any personal dealings with them, but have seen some really nice dogs from them.

warrenty means nothing btw no one is going to give their puppy back after they have got attached to it, also not many people are going to take a second dog on as a "replace"

dogs arent objects like gold or diamonds we cant just take them on whenever we feel if hips go bad with a dog we need extra money to spend on that dog most people arent going to be able to get a new dog at that time

i have a eurosport dog btw aside from some allergy shes perfect very fearless and strong in protection acts like a bodyguard

she was tested for protection a few times also after we got her shes exactly like joseff said she would be

if people are looking for gsds for protection i would really recc eurosport he knows how to pick good dogs with civil aggression but still very stable and strong nerved

I've read you posts about your dog's allergies. Allergies indicate a compromised immune system, they are serious.

by destiny4u on 03 January 2012 - 19:01

yeah but they did not show up until 1-2 months or so after i got my year old pup

she can still have a happy long healthy life with them? gonna see the vet again this week steriods did nothing for her eyes.  Gonna ask about a skin test and anti boitocs.

Most allergic dogs can be managed well enough to keep them comfortable. However, it will probably be ongoing for the rest of her life, so you will need to commit to doing what you need to do. Skin testing is the way to go and I'd look for a veterinary dermatologist. Most GP vets don't have the skill to handle allergies.

I wouldn't breed her if I were you.

Both are brokers, they dont commit fraud, maybe will sell you a dog that is not what you wanted. You will have the same price range and similar animals and warranty with them both. (let me add this: I know Eurosport will replace a puppy from their breeding, I am not aware of a warranty for an adult that they import for a customer)

You are ok buying dog from either of them.

As much as shit is being stirred right now, no broker, breeder is perfect... shit happens but these both have a track record with many clients and people like them or don't, depends on who you talk to.

It is how the shit is handled! Remember that.

And now I have never purchased a dog from either of them. I do own a z Jirkova Dvora dog that my family purchased for me! Could not ask for a more perfect dog for me!

Eurosport hands down over Alpine. I know both Josef and Taunya very well. I have purchased many dogs from them in the past. Josef works hard to find good dogs and often does. They also have good trainers/helpers there. With that said you MUST describe EXACTLY what you are looking for. They will work hard to find it and if there is a problem Taunya will answer your calls and do her best to help you out. Tell them what you expect in the dog, weather for family, sport, protection , environmentally,  will this dog be in the house with children, etc.....They are good people
