Forget color and looks; go with conformation and personality; both are beautiful; I would prefer the more confident girl. BOL Nan

@mirasmom-
This comment made me laugh this morning:
"I am always picking the pups that escape first out of the pen, and I think that sealed the deal this morning, I'm looking for a dog that is trying to seek out people, and climbing over the gate is also a good indication of health, agility and problem solving."
Senta (10 month old female GSD), who refuses to be confined, was chained to our front porch this morning but she busted her collar in half to get loose. What did she do with her illicit freedom? She whined at the back door to be let in. The back door is all glass so she can see us in the kitchen (where we spend 90% of our time in the house).

Red - in the pictures she is looking right at you with that certain spark in her eyes that shows great spirit / heart.

I'd take Yellow

I have a terrible habit of picking them by the look in their eyes... if I was doing that... I'd pick red.

Don't ask me I have 2 puppies here at the moment that are 5 months old, I couldn't choose at 8 weeks and I still can't, it's like splitting hairs. Never mind I will probably keep them both (not that I need 2 more ) but I am willing to wait a little longer and that is the only way that I will be confident that I have made the right choice.
Do I go with my heart OR do I go with my head?

Just for the record... I don't think we helped you at all! LOL It's a pretty even split :) But I did notice the breeders are picking yellow BUT none of us has seen the little terrors in action.
