This is just my experience with Eurosport over a 2 Month period(recently). Obviously, each experience would be unique , I contacted Eurosport and Tauyana got me the info. on a dog I was interested
in .I asked about 15 questions before I was going to leave a deposit, she answered 3-4 questions
promtly and right away. The others she wanted me to call her to go over and didn't want to answer
by e-mail.
I was fine with that , however, it took about 10 calls to get in touch with her again
and we played phone Tag for about 2 weeks. She would say call me at this pacific time and
I would just get her answering machine. Finally, caught up to her and she explained that the
Dog I was looking at was sold and Told me also that they don't give any written contracts with
dog purchases. At that point the dog was gone and I moved on, a few days past and
she e-mailed me and said that the buyer backed out and purchased another dog and the dog
I was looking at was avaliable again.
I asked her to please give me answers to the 5-6 questions I had asked
about dealing with them and the dog. Again , Phone tag at that point I wrote them back and told
them That I was no longer interested in the Dog. To me Personally when you spend $3000-$6000.00
Plus dollars on anything you should have some type of contract or written agreement .Just in
case some type of problem should arise on eitheir party's side. I didn't feel comfortable in
dealing with Eurosport without a contract, although I have seen dogs that Have come from
their kennel that are top Notch. I think they really Know dogs well and they have some really
great prospect and great working dogs. Although, business wise I would say they could do
a much better job in customer service and support to even make Eurosport a Better Business
and I would start 1st with a written contract on every purchase and perhaps having someone also handle some of the many calls they recieve to take some of the burden off Tauyna. Hope this was helpful to
anyone dealing with them and also to Eurosport.

BTW- I was able to briefly meet Mike D.'s dog Rasto at OG Indy, November 09 I think. VERY impressive, goodlooking dog with what appeared to be super temperament.

Most offer no contracts and no guarantees. The key here is to ask as many questions , get second opinions and see as many videos as possible. Remember most of these brokers employ full time trainers. They take a fair dog and train it so on video it looks like a great dog. Sometimes after the flight and change over you soon find the dog is average. it's the fast training job it got before it was sold to you.

That was when we did his AD, show rating & breed survey in one weekend! My daughter (16 at the time) handled him for the gaiting. Our 1st conformation show/breed survey ever. I think OG Indy does this each November & does a great job making newcomers to the show ring feel comfortable.
Did you show at that event?

You, Rasto and your daughter were an eyecatching team. I was really impressed with him.

I spoke to Taunya about 2 years ago as I was interested in a young female they had. Taunya informed me that she really did not think that the dog was what I was looking for--- as it was a friendly, stable, dog, but not for competition.
I ended up purchasing an Erri puppy the following year and she is turning out just fine.
