Well, Hell's bells & buckets 'o' blood... never thought I'd be typing, "good post Abnor"... but here it is, Good Post AbNor, well said.
Sue is having a tough time right now (most of us have been there) with Kally being so poorly and frequent trips back and forth to the Vet at all times of the night and day... and knowing that there's no light at the end of the tunnel... just trying to make her last days good ones!

Pencil, I don't understand how legal action could be taken - pedigrees are endorsed for the very reason that there are no guarantees that the pup will turn out to be suitable for breeding.
So very sorry to hear about Sue's old girl, hope her remaining days are comfortable.

miss beed/bazza/etc friends of the breeder is right campaign- go read a trading standards manual.
jodie when you say an endorsement is a contract- do you mean it says NO you can;t breed from my pup that i am selling you ? what fool would pay over the odds for something like that ?

Pencil, got it in for this breeder campaigner, why would you assume paying "top money" meant a buyer wanted to breed? That's your biggest problem you assume far too much!!

Pencil, I think you know that what I am saying is that many breeders place endorsements on registrations which they can then remove once the bitch/dog in question has been tested and proved to have satisfactory hips.
I still fail to understand how legal action could be taken - a pup is a living, breathing animal with no guarantees as to how it will turn out - it is hardly the same as say a washing machine that is made to one specification!
