 Yes, are there updates?  She's in California?  We aren't full of fosters... Where is he right now, which shelter?

They never got back to me, so that probably means she got bailed out. They call if they need us!

Just regarding the colour (Icannot help with rehoming as I live in the UK) but I bred a litter with 2 brindles about 40 years ago. I remember phoning Dr Malcolm Willis, the geneticist,  just to check that they really were pure-bred and he confirmed that the colour, though rare, was present in this breed.

Those are rear dewclaws.  My guess is mix breed.  You can get some really amazing looking things in a shelter.  I remember once someone brought in two BEAUTIFUL b/w pit bulls. Gosh, they could have won at a show.  Guess what? They were springer spaniel x boston terrier.
