I think there will be enough flexibility in the rules created by the Nyes to basically do as they wish.

Regarding WUSV selection i beleive you have the same situation in Belgium when you share the team witht the other WUSV member club, surely a properly selected team from Belgium would give you an even better chance of winning the team event

One other factor that you must vector in to this sorry situation is the divisiveness and bitterness it creates, and the impact this has on both team moral and the quality of candidates willing to give up their hard earned holidays to attend these events.
.
Some of our more experienced handlers, both ex BAGSD and GSDL, now take a view that competing at FCI/WUSV is not worth the hassle involved, I can think of 3 -4 individuals who have competed successfully at these types of events (and remember that we do not have that many in the UK!) who are at this present time not interested in going again until the current situation is resolved.
It all contributes to the sorry (and unrepresentative) picture of the sport in the UK presented in the US and Krefeld in recent years. Ask the recent high ranking SV judges who have judged the GSDL events- we have a better standard than Krefeld suggests.

You say the standard in the UK is better than suggested in Krefeld, I am sure it is because it could not be a full picture of the standard of Dog and training in the UK judging by that event, But as an Born and Bred Englishman i would guess it is the ego factor getting in the way of improving the situation, One body does not want to be second best to another body each one wants to be in charge instead of working to one true Goal the Representation of the Country in that Sport, It is that tha counts over here the Team effort if along the way a team member can win outright then great but the team performance comes first
We have the same problem in the UK in the Pigeon Sport two bodies who want to be the Boss so nothing works it is the management which is basically wrong, Time for the English to change there attitudes but i do not see that in my life time

Only my perspective, but for many yeas the GSDL has had a proposal on the table to BAGSD; each organization, by whatever means it so chooses, elects it's best ten dogs to compete in a final Selection Trial
This Trial, taking into account the historic and significant difficulties, is managed by a joint committee, takes place in a truly neutral venue, and is judged by a high ranking SV judge selected by the Senior SV Working Judge.
Each organization sends 2 helpers; the Judge selects who he wants to use- same with Track layers. The proposal is highly detailed and specific.
The outcome of this Trial selects the teams for WUSV/FCI.
BAGSD have consistently refused to discuss the proposal or indeed the idea of joint selection at all. They have used excuses as varied as animal cruelty to nonsense stating that GSDL are funding legal action against them.
You will note that "Member" on this board, (Mr John Ward) has recently resigned form the BAGSD executive; as has Eric Roberts, their only WUSV approved (and by that I mean he has undertaken the specific Deigal Seminar) Judge.
In the meantime, certain BAGSD members continue to act in a bullying, intimidating and rude way to both other BAGSD members and GDSL members alike- this is now on an almost weekly basis.
Last week I had BAGSD members attending my club who recounted very recent disturbing behaviour to me.
On another UK forum today one individual who attended the "Super trophy" yesterday describes "petulant and Kindergarten behaviour" from senior BAGSD members.
My club is full of disgruntled BAGSD members, one of whom represented that organization at the FCI last year.
It is a fact that egos play a part in this; I would contend that it the egos of a small minority of otherwise reasonable BAGSD members- this minority have one objective- to get to the WUSV/FCI every year, by ANY MEANS POSSIBLE; they have thus far succeeded. I ony hope the WUSV directive brings them kicking and screaming to the table.
Personally. I have attended WUSV 4 times (and qualified, although not at a level I could, or should have); I won't be attending again until this is resolved.
Please do not tar us all with the same brush. Right and Wrong have relevence here.
Cheers

If any true supporter of Sch has any ambitions or goals towards taking there Dogs to Worlds Class standard then you have to work as a team, Last Year over here in Belgium we have as most know also two different bodies, One is the Vlaams side our side, the other is the Walloon, French speaking part of Belgium
You both have your selection trials, However when it came down to the Crunch last year the French side decided that the Second Selection of there Dogs was not so good as one from our side and the Guy pulled out to let another handler and dog go through to give the Team a better overall chance That is the difference to over in the UK it seems
It is the team effort which counts most of all, Nothing should ever be easy to qualify for your country the selection has to be rigorous, I am Hoping of course that Izzys father will qualify again, however i want only the very best Dogs to go forewards and if it turns out Como is one of them then i will be double happy
It would be great to see a good UK team competing in Sevilla, and it will be great to watch them But will it happen for this year

VPG.2
Danny ? 70 55 80
VPG.3
Sujay Bohol 86 78 0
Greg Ford 90 90 84
Darren ? 0 94 92
Stuart Nye 90 75 75
Stuart Nye 44 80 0
Thomas Nye 42 60 0
Eric White 96 90 90
Jayne wood 81 89 79
Dave ? 0 84 0
So, Who's made the team?
I see Chairman Nye failed with his 2 dogs entered, maybe he should get a 3rd dog, to make it 3 times lucky an'all or just change HIS rules again
