I am sorry to hear about the bad experiences you have had but you cannot come on this forum and preach about the good of our breed if you don't practise what you preach.
Shame on you for breeding from untested animals.

It the guy that's pulling your string's again,
OK I will stick my hand up and say I have been thinking of getting my dogs x rayed. So from now on all my young dogs under two will be scored. But this dosn't address the problem of the weak rear ends and hocks not to mention the bent spine.
Oh yes I or anyone I show with don't string their dogs up. They are trained to trot by the side of the handler.
So I have made a pledge that is hurting some folks and I don't blame them for going on one, but seeing as you will never use one of my dogs It is of no consiquence is it. What the problem here is what The KC is insisting that the GSD do to rectify problems they and the Vet world are seeing. So with respect either bring some dogs over from Germany that look fantastic or sort the ones you have. To be able to show again you must sort these areas of concern. When I looked at the video of the program on TV it was quite obvious that the problem lies in the rear end. The hocks should be at 90 not floating all over, do you agree with this?. Last Nov I think it was, I saw Bob Kinsey with a couple of dogs with him and I swere I couldn't take my eyes off them. I have known Bob for many years now he put one of my pups up and got his very first best pup on his very first outing. Sorry I digress. Well you see these dogs where just magnificent, straight backs very good front's and decent rear ends. They where walking with no problems in any quarter so why does he put up dogs with problems. I have seen him judge over the years and I remember him judgeing in North Wales once and his final lineup looked all the same. They all had straight threw front ends and as he was standing in front of me I said Bob what have you done. He's never hardly spoken to me since.
So are we going to aggree with the Kc and do something about it. Oh yes I have heard a little rumour that a split in the breed is likely , is this true.?. The person that said Clair admitted she didn't know about dogs scored an own goal. Even the general public can spot there i a problem and lets face it she is an expert in movement . She has to be or the horses couldn't run. Well I have made a promise to you and get all my dogs sorted ( how much is it now) I would like to think you will do the same and adhere to the KC rules.
Notice I haven't called anyone Prat or pulled anyone down or swore I have been nice and Polite, Please reply in the same manner or I will stop posting.

Well that;s where your wrong Mika, for while you my dears are still floundering around in the UK's Gold Fish Bowl , we will be free to show our Health tested dogs whenever and where-ever we like under the WORLD UNION of GSD Clubs (which for insular ignaramusus like you is the translation of what WUSV stands for).
Oh to have cast off these chains that bound me to this Globe of a Gold fish pond and be Free to swim in the Oceans of the World. I pity you and your dogs Mikadene, I truly do, but am so happy to no longer have our breed held down under the hypocritical rules of a draconion dictatorship. ROLL UP, ROLL UP, KC FIT FOR PURPOSE , FIT FOR LIFE CHAMPIONS DONT EVEN HAVE TO UNDERGO HEALTH CHECKS (never mind PASS them) TO GET THEMSELVES INTO THE KC's STUD BOOK REGISTER !!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT DOES THAT SAY ABOUT YOUR SYSTEM??? I LAUGH IN YOUR FACE.
Sue
ps - by the way in case you hadnt noticed there is a lot of difference between Equine and Canine, dogs dont have hooves for a start !!! But I do see the resemblance between their dippy (sadle backs) and your Alsatians!!!

Mike, Please read some of the threads... we're telling the KC to keep their tickets, we'll be having our own shows... starting from just next month.
Lagos is not as you describe, he has passed all the tests and then some! Clare Balding is expert at looking like a bloke and not much else! We have some fabulous dogs... you don't see them because you don't attend our shows!
Bent spines? What do you think a dip amounts to? We could go on forever, but what's the point?
Good for you, if you're going to start hip scoring your dogs, it's a step in the right direction.

Mike,
We will agree to disagree on construction and I will continue to follow the world-wide acknowledged standards.
However, I am gald to hear that you have seen the light on testing and hope you stand by your word. Have you dogs sedated not anaethestised. And this should be hips and elbows and haemophilia for males and setting a maximum score above which you will not breed. Good Luck.
