TO All ON THIS THREAD
WHY CAN NO ONE SEE THE BIGGER PICTURE AND HERE IT IS FOLKS:-
THE GSD LEAGUE OF GB IS HOLDING AN SV EVENT (WITHOUT THE KC'S PERMISSION) ON THE 25TH OF APRIL - PRESUMING FROM THIS EVENT THAT THE LEAGUE IS A NO VOTE.
ANY GROUPS THAT FORM FROM TODAY ONWARDS WILL BECOME SATELLITE BRANCHES OF THE LEAGUE.
THERE IS NO NEED TO START UP A MAIN CLUB IF THE LEAGUE ARE WILLING TO TAKE ON THE NEW GROUPS AND THEY ARE AFFILIATED TO THEM.
THIS IS HOW I SEE IT - AM I WRONG IN MY THOUGHTS HERE?????
THE NEW GROUPS ARE CALLED PROGRESSIVE BECAUSE THEY ARE JUST WHAT IT MEANS - TO PROGRESS THE HEALTH, WELFARE AND WELLBEING OF THE GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG IN THE UK.
THERE ARE ALREADY LEADERS IN PLACE.

Be that as it is, there is no reason why we cannot have in this country a national organisation comparable to the SV. If the League is willing to take on that role then fine but they need to be explicit about it. In meantime there is no reason why we cannot make a start in setting up a national organisation comparable to the SV. Waiting is what has bedevilled progress.

We do not need to set up under the same rules as the German SV. The WUSV constituation allows for every country to produce their own set of organisation rules whilst still keeping to the main directives of only promoting and breeding from animals proved to be healthy in both mind and body by passing a Breed Survey.
