Happyday--nice pictures! The first GSD looks like my Beckett, same red-legged sable!  Yep, those Mali's can really fly! Some one had a video posted here a month or so ago of a bunch of Malis being worked, climbing trees & jumping, they ran like a flock of birds! Very cool! jackie harris

Nice pix guys!
I am sorry I had to leave you guys Jackie, but you are so right: I AM in a better place (for me) now. I haven't been this happy, healthy, excited about the future, in years.

I think Tony (who, BTW, won EVERYTHING in the Rottie world last year!)  is still training just the other side of Stroudsburg at Delaware Water Gap, (maybe 20 min or less from your place?) and there's a very good new club not far past that in NJ at Oscar Rojas' place, so at least you have a few more options within an hour of home than we had when we started Bosen Kinder Hundesport.
Dog First! is another good club, a bit farther drive for you, but Jimmy Honda and his group are excellent folks, on the cutting edge of competition dog training. There are other good clubs in NJ of course, but I think the rest are too far for you, training fees reportedly way over budget for us normal folks.

Speaking of Spring... It IS spring here. This afternoon's most important decision for me is-

Do I walk my dogs 100 steps out my front door THIS way---

...or 100 steps the other way?

The pix should explain why I haven't been on this message board much lately.

I keep pinching myself to make sure I am really home at last!

The Teather ball did not last long with Suzanne of Sierra k9s puppies visiting us at our new ranch.

Hey Shelley! I am SO-O-O-O jeolous! Had to tip-toe my way back home from work last night through another 2 " of fresh powder......& another storm on the slate for Monday...**sigh**! I have heard nice things about Carlos....my main concern is tolerance towards beginners & , of course $$$$ ( or lack thereof...LOL!). I had thought about Jim Hill, but I'm a little intimidated....believe it or not, that's who EJ used to go to for training with her dogs. Poor thing, she is having to place all but 2 of her dogs due to financial constraints. I am not taking on any more than I have now, times are just too uncertain right now! I'm glad you are happy, & I hope to get out west later this year, I'll be heading to Portland to visit my son, but hopefully we can hook up, even if it's just for an afternoon!  I also was thinking about going to a couple of Mark's 'seminars' in NJ, they're kind of half way between Carl's daughter's place & here, she's taken Wolf a couple of times & said she enjoyed it, & it was not too pricey.....but it 's not like having a club.....jh

Kimmelot---Tetherball for GSDs....a novel new excersize plan....looks like fun! Nice! jackie harris

The puppies distroyed our $17 teather ball , but it was all worth it. There where 3 of them playing and bouncing it off there noses and you could hear there " Snap" , they where doing back flips - so high in drive at the moment !! So unlike my dogs, yet My female Angel is there mommy.

My only other dog that likes to chase this is my Axel - he is just wild about playing " Ball" with the kids.
