Jason, Yes it definitely will be very interesting to see the difference.  A big thing I am woking on with Indi now is her confidence. I don't want to do anything to take away from that. I know that females can be more sensitive. I really am going to be lucky to be able to compare their personalities and strong/weak points like you said. The tracking is going to be tricky. Each dog will have a different day. Galan amazed me on his first track. And Indi too with her scent pads...

Robin, I am sure your friend is going to be pleased with her new little guy. He is very handsome.

Cee, Thanks so much, yes Steve is wonderful!  One of my best friends, even from so far away :-) He is always there for me to give me advice and braved the horrible weather over there to get these pictures and visit with the puppies. He also sent me a detailed mail about my Isolina. And has told me so much about Como and Babsi, plus all I know about Izzy it helped me feel confident that I will be pleased with this puppy.

Deb, I was not expecting this puppy since originally they were all spoken for but I couldn't pass her up, as much work as it is going to be ;-)

Kelly, I don't try to push anyone into making a decision they may later regret but I will tell you Indi is exactly what I wanted. Have you contacted the breeder yet? I can promise you he is an honest and forthright person who will not mislead you. I've known him for three years and even with his hectic schedule he always gets back to me with training /breeding questions.

Steve, Thanks for posting the Izzy pictures! I can't  believe how similar they look! Your Izzy seems to have bigger bones.

Stacy
Iz is quiet a well built little Pup, She is solid and a well balanced little girl. She was always looking to be first among what was going on whist we were there, and Rinus said she along with one of her sisters was forever jumping out of the playpen if they had the chance and running across the Garden,
They have a Slabbed area fenced in with a roof over to come out to play if they want then they can go back inside as they wish too, They were all inside until they heard us outside and they all appeared and as i say one bit my brothers hand as he bent down to pet it and drew blood two others grabbed the bottom of my trousers and were hanging on that was within seconds of going into the pen they were like a bunch of Lion Cubs
Izzy was not the big one in her litter small really but she has grown on I have a few Pic.s of her a few weeks after i bought her home i guess about 10 weeks old when Isolina gets that age we can post them again
Did you get my last mail about the small harness

Speaking of full siblings: I believe a member of our club is looking to get a Zasko X Hetty pup from Rinus. I don't know whether or not she was able to reserve one or not. But it would be something to have a full brother to Ike in the same club!

JasonL,
I was watching your training videos on youtube...and I really enjoyed them!
That Ike is something else...very smart pup!

by JasonL on 31 January 2010 - 07:01

Thanks, Kelly ... although that's the first time anyone has used "Ike" and "smart" in the same sentence LOL.

awww...he is smart! just a little goofy lol...

The joke at training is we should really make him wear a helmet for his own protection ... his nickname at the moment is "Gomer" ... as in Gomer Pyle .
