Just heard from the Vet. (6:30 pm Chicago time.) She is keeping food down, but now has diarrhea. She will be checking in on her later on tonight.
She is devoted to the animals in her care. It's also a good thing that she lives very close to her Animal Hospital, so she can check in on her patients.

I feel terrible for Lexie as she is a really great dog and I certainly hope she recovers. This is the first dog I have bred with this problem and I am sure it has not been easy. We can only hope she is home again soon.
The breeder.

YES... BEAUGSD, there have been issues in the past between you and I, and YOU HAVE BAD MOUTHED me ALSO, so let's set the record straight! There was no e-mail sent, because I DID NOT RECEIVE IT! AND also let people know that you have told me, you were sorry you sold me Lexie, and that she would have been better off being put to sleep because of the EPI! I have her for a reason, and I am giving her a GOOD LIFE, and gave her a CHANCE. Well...if she does not recover, you have gotten your wish!
Thank you for all the well wishes and prayers from the previous posters! I will keep you posted!

There was no more loose stools overnight, but they will keep Lexie just one more day, to make sure that all is well. If everything is AOK, she will be home on Tues!
Thanks for all of the thoughts and prayers!
