Thanks for your input.
As you seem to know who I am and have made no secret of it,
can you please let me know who you are.
Plus I have never said I know a lot about GSDs and freely admit
I get a lot of advice from other breeders and am happy to accept it.

Hamza, start by buying Malcom Willis book on GSD genetics, and spend many long winter evenings reading and digesting. It will tell you everything you need to know and lots more, and is also a very very interesting and user friendly read.

13yrs old explains a lot.........and maybe by the time he/she is an adult......he/she will have gained quite a bit of knowledge..?! Like told before......read, watch, listen & learn.
But be respectful first.....hamza.

For me the best Kennel in the UK by a long shot " for me personally" is Tramella, the work they have put into there dogs show us the commitment, They also are very successfull breeders, using the right males for the correct females, i would then put the Scottish kennel Conbhairean along with Tramella, same as i said above. Well done to these 2 great kennels for a super year.

Abeiter,
In your last post in this thread you wrote
"Myfanwy-Bernard but you don't know anything about GSD's"
According to another post you sign yourself as Hans Weiss,
I do not know you and do not remember speaking to you here in the UK
and do not go abroad.
Can you remind me where we have met and when.

Herr Bernard you English are so amusing.I never said that we had met !
I went to your website via this site and there it says your name is Herr Bernard, sorry if I caused you untold stress in my evaluation of your GSD knowledge, my mistake. It would appear that you were quiet successful or maybe lucky, who knows.Looking across the water towards England I would say maybe you should speak to videx, he seems to have a lot of knowledge lol...................?????????

Arbeiter.
You made comment regarding my knowledge of the GSD breed without knowing who I am or how much I know about the breed, I am the first to admit that I am not an expert but have enough knowledge to get by and with a little advice from other breeder have managed to produce some very nice puppies, and yes I have been lucky everyone needs a bit of luck if they wish to be successful.
I was surprised by your comment as I was just trying to help a young person who is new to the breed and I did not understand why you would take offense at this and make a negative comment about me.
Thank you for advice I do know and speak to VIDEX and also a number of other breeders here in the UK and am always happy to hear there advice as they have always been supportive as I try and learn more about the breed.
