Steve,
Thank you for you response. I'm sure Jason will appreciate it too. I was trying to remember everything I know about Zasko in an email to him and the page timed out before I could send it...LOL
I think it was an omen, only one female. She was also born on an important day in US history (9/11) I planned on naming her Ice, but I was thinking maybe Independence instead, Indy as her call name.
I hope to make her breeder proud. His breedings are thought out well, and that made for a hard choice.

Cathy,
Thank you, I'm sure she'll be a lot of fun! Zasko is located in Belgium.

Thanks Stacy, He sure is a fine looking male. Due to funds I would love him more in the USA  :)  But he will defiantly stay on my list of stud dogs to keep in mind  :)

LOL. You're telling the truth on finds, Cathy. I should be saving my money to move out of Las Vegas and go home to TX, but I am horrible at prioritizing. It's shameful!, really.  I have to say I'm paying as much for her with shipping as an average pup (or stud fee) here in the states. So I justify it for myself. It helps with the guilt. :-)
I have nothing against breeders here at all, but my breeder over there is my hero
I have been dealing with him for over 2 years and he's great.
As far as studding to Zasko, I don't believe he does frozen or chilled semen, it's a thought to consider though. He didn't offer it  few years back when I asked. Wouldn't hurt to ask him again though, if you'd like me to. :-) I wouldn't mind a whole litter of Zasko pups. Poblem there would be, I wouldn't want to give any up. At least until they hit the terrible teens ;-)

A year or so ago there was frozen semen of Zasko in the USA, I do not know if it has gone or what but easy to find out
Stacy you would have to be Wonder Woman to cope and keep a whole litter of Zasko Pups. I think you will find one will test you out and maybe put a little Grey in your Blond Hair

LOL That's why I dye my hair red Steve, to cover it up. I think I got about 5 grays just deciding on this little puppy. I'm letting the blond grow back out. That way there when I say/do something outrageously foolish people can just say, "Ah, that explains it" :-)
For a split second I thought about getting one of each litter. I know I can't handle it though. Financially, physically or mentally

I have a pup out of Zasko's brother (Zorro vom prielberg). Zorro's a great dog and my pup is awesome. Maybe Zasko produces nice pups too. Karthago and Jabina both used Zorro for a stud. Mine is from Karthago. Good luck in which ever one you choose.

Hey Mark, Thank you. I am getting the female by Zasko...Already sent the deposit, she's mine :-)  Good Luck with your puppy too! I hope it works well for you. How old is he/she?

As always Steve, I appreciate your time, and offering to take pictures of Indy for me... Let me know all the details of the trial! Just got back from training with Galan. He was bossy and rude during the OB... Of course though, he did awesome for the protection part  (his favorite!)
He is finally barking at the helper now. Nice full, calm grip every time. It was too hot this everning for a long session but it was great fun. I was a little sloppy in my handling. Because Galan has such high drive it's hard to keep up with him sometimes. He tried several times to go for my forearm instead of the ball on the rope while drive building. Or would try to get the rope right next to my hand, rather than the ball. He got me once. I wasn't fast enough LOL.
Speaking of speed, my helper is quick and Galan even was too quick for the helper once, and got the sleeve before he wanted him too. That's my boy

Oh look, I hijacked my own thread!

Thanks again all!

Hi Stacey,

If I'm right I know the breeder of these 2 litters very very well and if it is who I think it is then non of his puppies will be bad!!

Personally however, I think you are right to go with the Zasko daughter!

Good luck with her

Thank you Tom!  You probably do know the breeder of both litters. He has a wonderful reputation and does right by his dogs and his buyers. I am hoping to meet him in person on one of his trips to the states. I believe he is judging a show in the USA this year, in New Orleans, if I'm not mistaken. I would love to thank him personally. I doubt he would have time for a lengthy conversation, but I can hope :-)
He picked my male dog for me 2 years ago as a pup and I honestly don't think I will ever buy a dog or puppy from anyone else!
Thanks again.
Stacy

*edit* 'for Cathy...Come to think of it I think Steve is right about Zasko semen being here in the US
